Disgusted CS600 user
Hi all -
just got to say am really really not impressed with Polars attitude - i wonder how many thousands there are with the excellent computers that are now useless for any serious training - obviously Polar don't care coz they're still selling loads - but i suspect they are far more focused on the trendy cash rich leisure user now from a commercial point of view - and not picky serious users. Hey ho

Finally got it
OK, this was long and heavy, but I did it.
I returned to Windows 10 because some other stuff did not work since I reverted to Windows 7 e.g. Scheduled Tasks.

Today, I installed Oracle VirtualBox (free) and set it up with Windows XP. Fortunately, I had the installation disc
And then, a lot of work, but it was worth it.
First, I installed Polar ProTrainer 5 software, but my dongle still did not work. I tried several times, different options. Nada.

Finally, on Polar site, I found the driver that worked and when I installed, I was able to transfer my data from watch to shared folder, which is in fact Polar data folder on my host (win10) PC.

The driver can be found on: http://www.polar.com/us-en/support/P...dapter_Drivers

This driver does not work with Windows 7 though.

Hope this helps.

Mike

Yes, all the news announce that IRda is working on the new release (I think this is called 'Redstone" and should be released somewhere in June).
