Windows Phone 8
Come on guys - why isn't this belt supported in any application yet? Windows Phones is the most agressively expanding smartphone right now. It is already the top 1 smartphone in many markets (ofc, not USA or western europe) - it's way more popular than blackberry and symbian phones, and with the August update, it opens up most of the nokia phones to Bluetooth LE (SMART).

So where is the app support? Why is nobody pushing on this?

The problem here is Windows Phone. It does not support the profile needed for this transmitter and so it is not possible to support.

BEEP - wrong. It does. the requested profile is Bluetooth SMART (also known as Low Energy, or LE for short).

This support has been in hardware on all nokia phones since Windows 8 was launched. With the Windows Phone update GDR2 (known as Amber) the software also supports it, so Polar has no reason to hold back.
