Weblink and windows 8
HI,

I have a problem the weblink software doesn't work with Windows 8. I have even set the compatibility mode to Windows 7 and restarted and it made no difference. I am also running the full version of Windows 8 Pro.

Check that you've got admin rights (and that you're logged in as an admin) to the computer.

If still no joy, please contact customercare@polar.com with the error message you get to get further assistance.

Hey Guys well i think that Win 7 is best then Win 8 like win8 is more complex and difficult to use.Thanks!!

how to restart Polar weblink
After upgrading to Windows 8, the uplink may stop working. Restart it as follows:

Windows key+ X on keyboard to get menu
In menu, select Task Manager
In Task Manager, click Services tab at top right
In Services tab scroll down to find Polar Daemon
Right click on Polar Daemon and choose Restart

Plug in weblink, put Polar HRM watch on it and upload data
